TRANSPORT 

Driving to Farr Estate 

Address: Farr House Farr, Inverness, The Highlands, United Kingdom IV2 6XB 

Pick up & Drop off

A local taxi driver will be available for the following pick up and drop off for everyone not driving to Farr Estate. Please note these are approximate times and might change depending on demand, if your travel times don’t align with most of the group I’m afraid you might need organise your own transport and we can provide you with a local taxi number to coordinate this.  

Friday: From Inverness Train Station & Airport approx 14:00 - 14:30.

Monday: To Inverness Train Station & Airport approx 12:00 - 13:00. 

WHAT TO BRING 

The following is a suggested list of things to bring to the retreat: 

- Reusable water bottle;
- Any additional food or drink you might want;
- Comfortable clothes for practice;
- Waterproof jacket;
- Walking shoes, ideally waterproof;
- Swim wear & a beach towel;
- Warm jacket/jumper/fleece;
- Hat/beanie.

FAQS 

How many people are going? 

There will be a total of 12 retreaters. 

What times and where will transport be to take me to Farr Estate? 

There will be two pick up & drop off times on Friday and Monday to and from Inverness Airport and Inverness train station. Please note, these times are based on the travel information provided from guests so far and may change depending on demand. 

Pick-up on Friday, Inverness train station & Inverness airport approximately 3:00pm. Drop-off on Monday, Inverness Airport & Inverness train station approximately 12:00pm. 

Will alcohol and coffee be allowed? 

Yes, coffee and alcohol are allowed. We would just encourage everyone to moderate the alcohol and coffee intake to make sure you make the most of the practices. Alcohol is not included in the price of the retreat, but will be available to buy directly from Farr House.
Traditionally alcohol and coffee are not encouraged with yoga practice as they influence the mind- body connection.

What sort of food can I expect? 

Delicious and nourishing vegetarian home cooked food will be served throughout the retreat, inspired by world cuisines! All meals are vegetarian to align with the Sattvic diet and also the principles of ahimsa. 

Will I have some time to myself? 

Yes, you will! There will be the daily practice, mealtimes and optional activities – otherwise you will have plenty of time to spend how you wish at Farr Estate! 

What sort of yoga will we do? 

The daily practice will combine traditional practices of Hatha and Vinyasa with meditation, mindfulness, breath work and relaxation, allowing you to experience the full physical and mental benefits. The sessions are accessible for all abilities so that everyone can experience the benefits. 

How much yoga will we do each day? 

One practice on Friday and Monday, and twice daily on Saturday and Sunday. 

Do I need to bring a mat? 

No, yoga mats and blocks will be provided at Farr House but please feel free to bring any props to support your practice e.g meditation cushions, knee support etc.

When does the retreat begin and end? 

You can check in from 3pm on Friday. The rst yoga session will be at 6pm. The weekend retreat will finish on Monday after brunch at 12pm. 

Who is leading the retreat? 

Alexa and Lucy will be looking after you over the retreat. Alexa will lead all the practices & Lucy will be hosting us and catering all the delicious food. 

Will treatments will be available? 

Massages will be available to book on both Saturday and Sunday at an additional cost and we will be in touch for booking these soon. 

CANCELLATION POLICY 

Booking and payment 

We ask for 50% deposit upon booking and a final balance payment 6 weeks prior to the start date of the retreat. 

Cancellation Policy 

When cancelling more than 6 weeks before the start of an event, you will be offered a full refund.
If you cancel a retreat, course or workshop with less than 6 weeks notice, no refund will be available. You may pass your booking on to a friend at no additional cost. Please notify us via email if a friend will attend in your place. If you don’t have a friend to pass on your booking to, please notify us immediately so that we can try to re-sell your place. If we successfully re-sell your place you will receive a full refund, minus a 10% administration fee. 

Cancellation by us 

If the retreat is cancelled by the Retreat Organizer you will receive a full refund.
